Getting EAD
Hello,
I filed my I-140 by october 17, 2002 and my lawyer advised me not to file the I-485 together with I-140 since the rule is new and also stated that though I-485 applied concurrently it might be processed only after the approval of I-140. Itseems that if I-140 applied alone and incase its rejected, one can always apply it again but if I-485 is applied along with I-140 and if its rejected there might be some problem reapplying it.
Is there anyone who applied both I-140 and I-485 at a time.?
Also in that case did you receive your EAD before getting the
I-140 approved?
Thanks,
Balaji

I'm not sure how you expect people in an Australia/NZ migration
newsgroup to answer a US related query.
