Default FYI: Query by a phone call to DIAC

I called to DIAC last week as my status has been recently changed to "Further processing started". For my last thread here regarding the meaning of the recent status, people have replied that it could be when replied for a PLE or when a document is received and a lot of other reasons. Eventually, I phoned to DIAC.

I have been told that the phone calls and email enquires are handled by a separate team which can't change the status of the application. Even after the case officer has been assigned, emails are filtered and forwarded if necessary.

Also, said that he can see the same status as I do in online. So, no point making a call regarding your application before CO has been assigned. It is worth for getting general information.

Please share your experiences and information. Thanks.

Purpose: Forum provides the facility to share the information. That's it. I publicly put my experiences and keen to hear from others too.

Bermudashorts and Ozdream09 are correct. This is a pointless thread about you calling DIAC. Anyone who calls DIAC does so for their own visa application and anyone elses calls to DIAC bears no resemblance.
