Funds being brought over

Hi

I am currently filling in our Visa Application and am wondering what I should fill in in the section asking how much you are bringing over, does anybody know if they check this or anything? We are not sure what to put as we don't know when or if we will get the visa?

Any help appreciated!

They don't check it though, at least not for something like a Spouse visa or ordinary skills visa. Might be different if its something like a business investment visa.
