Default forms 886 and 80 Spouse visa

hello all

my husband and i are hust getting our application for spouse visa underway (nearly there) I have been looking at people TOC's. Does anyone know if we must complete 886 and 80? I thought it was just the 2 40SP and 47SP.

ANy help greatly appreciated.

Hi Laura,

Yes, you need to complete both. Please see our thread http://britishexpats.com/forum/showt...24#post2719324 for our checklist. We got our visa back in 4 working days, so hope this helps!!!

Form 886 is definitely optional, although you'd probably be asked to
fill it up.

Form 80 is for character checks, and it's best to fill it up. Your case
officer may insist that you complete this form when processing your
application.

Yes, just filled them out (both of them). It's good to have all documents ready when you lodge your application, so DIMIA doesn't have to request anything!

Thanks all will fill them both in then. Nearly done now, just need to photocopy some stuff, get some photos done and get our solicitor friend to sign some stuff, then can send it all off. YEY. Loads of hard work though isnt it. We were at it all afternoon and most of the evening writing statements and sorting out the TOC.
