A friend of mine had problem with DIAC
He had total of 115 points for PR visa(175 CSL)
He applied online application in last December
So MUST GET 120 points to claim 175 CSL PR visa
HERE are the alternatives
1-increase IELTS score by getting 7 and he cab get 15 points instead of 15
2-He can get State Nomination
3-he re-apply with new application
please share the ideas with us, thank you

Re: Current Processing Times (continued)
We were fortunate to have an Australian govt. sponsored job – their recruiting department was very on the ball and helped guide the process effectively.
This should give you a little hope though – IT WAS NOT BAD FOR US. In fact, it went REALLY SMOOTHLY!
Basically, it took us about 5 weeks to complete the requirements for and receive a 457 Temporary Visa.
Once we got the 457, we took a month off from paperwork, moved and got settled.
Then it took about 6 weeks for the whole PR process. I believe we delayed this ourselves by about 3 weeks by my not drinking enough water the day of our medicals (there are other threads on this, “protein in urine”). We also didn't have all of our paperwork in order exactly the way they wanted it. For example, there was confusion whether our marriage certificate was registered, which it was, but they were confused by it.
2008:
Nov 10 – Job offer, 457 Nomination from employer
Nov 12 - we completed 457 application
Nov 13 – Case Manager requested we have X-Rays taken and submitted
Nov 16 – X-Rays taken
Dec 2 – Australia immigration received X-rays in application of 457
Dec 4 – Granted Temporary (457)
(moved Dec 23, found apartment Dec 29, moved in Jan 2, started work Jan 9)
2009:
Jan 14 – Employer submitted PR nomination
Jan 20 – Took medicals for PR (protein in urine, delayed by additional lab tests/required to see a General Practitioner, no problems found, letter and labs sent by Jan 27)
Feb 26 – Granted PR - celebrated that weekend, driving down the Great Ocean Road, where we saw 50 wild koalas in one day!!!
Don't get discouraged! It's worth it!!!
