Default How long to wait for subclass887 visa approve

I just hand in my subclass887 application today. Can anyone tell me it take how long for Immigration to allocate case officer and get it approve. Last time when I ask them they told me will get it within 5 months. However, from what I read in this forum it look like they take longer than that.

Anyone have already got the visa can you please tell me how long you guys wait for the visa......

Not from Feb 2008 but I am from June 2008 and they have been stuck on 20 Nov 2007 for months now. I'm not sure why it has stalled for so long only they will know and they don't seem too likely to tell us. What annoys me most is that they've taken reciept of our money ($2000) and have done nothing in return.

ya you are right turkeytek, for E-lodged applications generally the pending ones are not as old as one year, but see now the 8 Dec 2008 status say 7 dec 2007 applications is going on for VE 175......and worst of all now they will have Chritsmas break within couple of days.....this break will end and the full fledged office working for ASPC will start only in first week of January 2009.....its pity that we have no choice.......it feels like being struck up!

Hi guys, I am new here.
seems like it doesn't move at all for months.

I wonder some people get visa jumping over the beupdate.com timeline or DIAC's processing.. is there any particular reason?

Hello! I'm from Feb too, applied for V175 online. I'm not from the UK but from Singapore (low-risk country I would think). But, I'm still waiting for a CO too.

Kindly welcome me in this waiting forum so i can increase my spirit to wait for such a long time.By the way i had applied my e-visa on 9 November 2007.

Hi there!

Yup, I front loaded my meds and pnccs. So, I would have to retake my meds and pnccs if I don't get mine by March. However, I'm likely going to get my agent to pay for that, since the applicant technically does not have to load in the documents till requested.
