Default form 80 what is it used for?

Someone mentioned they filled in a form 80 with their application, so I downloaded it and it looks useful and something they might use, but on the partner migration checklist it doesnt mention a thing? Can anyone shed some light? We are filing a de facto partner migration.

Cheers

It is not essential but agents generally advise to fill it in just in case DIMIA ask for it later in the application. I filed my De Facto without the form 80 and it was not requested later on.

It won't hurt if you filled it up and handed it in.
