Form 80
Hello,
I've been an observer for some time on this board, but only just now
have decided to sign up for it.
Some quick questions.
Form 80: when applying for a spouse visa, does everyone need to fill
that out? If not, why is it required for some and not other?
Driver license issues: does dimia consider outstanding driver license
issues bad character? For example, having your license suspended for
points or things like that. Not for drink driving or anything like
that.
I've been an observer for some time on this board, but only just now

This leads me to believe that you don't submit one unless asked for, and on looking through Booklet 1 it doesn't mention Form 80 at all, just asks you to get a character check. Maybe it's just for skilled visas and other non-partner categories? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Most minor driving offences aren't considered serious enough to deny a visa, I've even heard of people with drink driving offences getting visas if it was a long time ago. Depends what you've done (if anything!) - just be honest, they'd rather that than people lying about convictions and offences only for them to turn up in police checks.

We've applied for Contributory Parent visa and we have to complete form 80.
I don't know what the criteria is for completion of this form.
All the details required on the form are already on the initial application.
