Form 1195 no longer needed for citizenship by conferral?
When I submitted my online citizenship by conferral application in July 2024 I had to attach the Identity declaration Form 1195.
Completing my wife's application (also by conferral) today I noticed that Form 1195 did not appear in the list of attachments requested. Downloading Form 1195 now I see the design date reads 09/24. Under who should use this form: ..."if you are applying online for citizenship by descent or evidence of citizenship".

Yes, the requirement for a completed Form 1195 when applying for Australian citizenship by conferral has been removed.
