Its been a while...a year actually since i've been on BE! Feel like a total newbie
We have done the impossible and sold our house (it always sold just fell through
) !
We are renting for year and getting geared up to get to Oz yet again...it is much less stressful with no house to sell!
My OH and 3 boys are validated and we have til May 2012 to arrive , that just leaves me and my son and daughter who couldnt go and validate as they told me not to fly (was pregnant with my daughter)
So the best option seems to get a spouse visa ......but its been so long since I did anything to do with emigrating (unless i count watching 'Phil down under' and 'wanted down under'!!) that I cant seem to get started......I would be super grateful for any advice on the best option for us.
I had a friend who went to Oz and said perhaps I should just go and sort it out whilst there, but i'm too worried about being pulled up in the airport to do that!
We aim to go at the end of this year....just get this sorted and we can relax ...a bit!
Thanks
Zoe xx

You certainly can't just "go and sort it out when you get herë" as you need a visa of some kind to enter the country. If you're planning on going at the end of the year you have plenty of time - you apply for a Spouse visa, sponsored by your husband, and the two kids go on that as well

Should have loads of time to get things sorted for a Spouse Visa, and you will get the PR Spouse visa straight away, no need for the two years temporary one first

!Feel more relaxed about it after a good few hours on the aus gov website- and tired!
Main problem is to stop OH changing destination in Aus!
