So it's ready to be issued, but can't be issued until The Geek gets back from the States. He's currently on his 2nd of 3 flights and should arrive back tomorrow, so the guy at immi says he will issue it ASAP after Australia Day.
Apologies for such a long and angst-ridden visa thread.
(If anybody has a list of Things To Do When You Go From TR To PR, it would be much appreciated. Change Medical Insurance, get Medicare, notify whoever, etc., etc.)
