Hi,

I have just received my PR visa under independent skills (not allowed to marry until
first entry). My girlfriend has also seperately applied under independent skills but
her decision has not come in. She had applied much after I had. We plan to marry.

Should she re-apply for an intended spouse visa or should she wait until her
independednt skills application decision comes through? If that decision is negative
and she then re-applies under intended spouse, will DIMA conclude that she is
applying as an intended spouse just because her independent skills application failed
and so reject her fiancee visa too?

Any comments will help.

cheers, Kushal
