Best of luck with the re-meds. Sure it'll work out fine in the end
Just out of interest, how soon after the LCU received/processed your meds did they request more info?
Did the request come from the LCU, the MOC, your CO, or your agent?
Also, did you get a letter through the post or an e-mail/phone call?
Fingers crossed for you

Hiya
We too, have pending further tests before the meds can be sent off.(re my husband)
And with us the panel doctor has requested the tests. He said that had he put it through and the LCU picked up on it when they got round to our application, then it could delay us further as they will send back requesting the further info. This way we have all the info there ready when they get to our eventual med details.
We agree that this is the best way for us to go.
Have you got your meds coming up?

They were sent last thursday so the waiting begins again. Hope this helps.

Our unrequested meds were done in early Feb and we received an e-mail from the LCU on 28th Feb confirming that they had been received and 'processed'
We have heard nothing from the LCU and/or MOC since then
We were assigned a CO on 12th May who requested PCC's and a Form 1022 and nothing else
Although we're tempted to think all is ok, our agent has advised that they can not rule out further medicals and/or medical reports being requested from the LCU
We're just hoping that the next thing we hear is news of visa grant from DIMA!

[QUOTE=onepearlyb]Ooo-er, whats form 1022 then??
As far as I can see it is a nofication of change in circumstances.
My meds were sent of last Thursday unrequested. Husband had a problem with xray but we obtained relevant paperwork from our GP to go with it. Our panel doctor also said this will save time and hopefully sort out delays later but also said they may request that he sees a chest specialist.
Any idea when we will hear.

In the same boat as you. Still trying to figure out what 'processed' means.
Howcome your agent seems to think this about more tests?

request came via email from agent who got email request from LCU DIMA on Friday 16th June (I wasnt at work that day so didnt get till 19/06/06).
We front loaded medicals, they have given us 90days to come up with required information. Our agent reassured us this is quite common with existing conditions and did pre-warn us prior to application that it was a strong possibility but shouldnt preclude us from Visa if all looks good.
thanks for the crossed fingers - we are now just searching for endocronologists - anyone know any good ones?

We hope the agent is just erring on the side of caution. After all, it's nearly 4 months since our meds were 'processed'

Is cat b the 'worse' cat?
How did u find you what cat your meds are? Did u find out at the medicals appointment?
I emailed LCU and all i got was the same old 'received and processed' email.
Should I therefore assume I am in the category where no further tests etc are required?

I don't think Grade B is anything to worry about - I think it;s quite minor things and shouldn't hold you back to much.
Don't worry !
