Default ex spouse refuses to allow non migrating sons medical

I know there have been other threads regarding medicals for children not migrating, I have been unable to find them so if anyone knows if there is a way to overcome the problem of an ex spouses refusal to allow a child to have a medical please respond

cheers

Yes there is a way. You need to persuade DIMIA it's "unreasonable" for the child to do a medical. How this works depends on circumstances - eg if you have no custody or access rights and can prove it, that's a good start.
