ENS PR costs tax deductible?
Hi all,
Have been here for 3yrs on a 457 now, and have decided to put in our PR papers. Employer is happy to sponsor, but I have to meet the costs.
I had a quick search but didn't see this question cropping up before - does anyone know if any of the fees or charges are tax deductible? I'm looking at $2k in professional fees from the company's preferred migration agent (assuming I do the personal section of the application myself), plus the $2.5k lodgement fee, plus sundries and GST on the professional fees, so not an insignificant incentive to investigate the tax position.
Thanks in advance for any pointers on this.
Cheers,
Alex
