Has anyone NOT had to have their skills assessed under exceptional circumstances on the ens 12/856 visa

What kind of "exceptional circumstances" have you in mind?

Exceptions I can think of is if you have state registration, or you are a senior academic.

There are also the alternative routes of 2 years on a 457 or equivalent visa, or a salary exceeding a certain threshold (A$160k or so).
