End of the road?
Hi Guys, After weeks and weeks of liaising with a representative of a visa company. we have just found out that because my wife only works 10 hours per week since having our second child that we no longer qualify for SIR visas.
I am a self employed Landscape gardener with 18 years experience, but i have no formal qualifications.
Our plan was for my wife to work initially because she has a post graduate diploma in science research. I would re-train as a floor and wall tiler and go from there. But this can no longer be the case!
I heard a while ago that the Australian government would be relaxing the rules with regards to qualifications within the building and landscaping profession. Is this true? Does anybody here know if this is the case for definite?
