Default emmigrating to australia

We are trying to complete paperwork for emmigrating.....aaarrrggghhhh.
Can anyone advise of any immigrating agent that doesn't cost a small fortune to give us help on which catagory we should use.

We have relatives in Adelaide - although my husband is fostered into the family - not adopted? Does that make any difference?

Also, we don't have any higher education qualifications, although we do have some capital that we could invest.
My husband is self employed gardener - for 10 years.

I am computer administrator, but again no qualifications.

Any advise would be great!!

We researched a great deal before finding a migration agent that we
felt totally happy, and finally we decided on George Lombard who posts
reguarly on this group. We are very happy with his work so far and I
have every confidence in his ability to do his best to help us with
our application.

good luck

Hi Shazza!

I didnt need an agent myself as I had a fairly straightforward case , but if you think yours may be a bit complicated, then use one of the agents that post on this forum. they all seem to be good at their job and still find time to give advice here for free! I would recommend either Alan, George or Jeremy, they seem to be the most popular ones.

Good luck with your application!

Cheers!

Why not do some research here or ask some of the regular agents
posting for a quote.

If there's no blood or adoptive relationship, you're probably out of
luck.

General Gardener (4623-11) is on the Skilled Occupations List. It
carries 60 points, so you may be able to qualify as independent
migrants.

The occupation is assessed by Trades Recognition Australia (TRA), and
you would need to show you met the relevant Australian standard.
You'd almost certainly need a good agent - who's familiar with TRA
processes - to help you through the assessment, assuming you qualify
for it in the first place.

There is a skilled occupation called Computing Support Technician
(3294-11). Depending on your duties, training etc you might be able
to get a TRA assessment in this. It only carries 40 points, but if
you're the spouse that wouldn't matter as you'd only get assessed if
you needed the 5 points for spouse skills.

I suggest you contact a good agent for a professional evaluation of
your case.

Hi Shazza,

I'm also using George Lombard for the immigration process. He has been
a great help until now and provided me always with useful information
so I'm really happy with his services.
