E676, will i get one?
Guys,
I am looking to go to oz just after Christmas to visit my son for 3 weeks ,flights and accommodation booked.
I Applied for an ETA and was granted, however having read a few comments etc on forums i realised i should have declared my criminal history.So i have bow applied for an E676.
my history dates back 19 odd years ago for the most recent and then 30 odd years ago when i was a juvenile. I pinched a motorcycle when i was 13 and was convicted and fled the scene of a car crash (no one else involved, just a hedge) in 1993. No custodial sentences were imposed just fines and points.
Im in a bit of a panic...
1. What are my chances of getting an E676 ?
2. Do you think it will be by 26.12.12
I have sent my police certificate and subject access and have heard nothing, when calling Australia house in the UK, i just get "be patient"

I am fairly confident that the record is going to result in the visa being refused.
Unfortuntely cannot comment on how long it might take though. When did you apply?

You really think with that history I will be refused? Why ? Is there a way around it ? I applied with all relevant paperwork a week or so ago.
