As I known, to get a driving licence in australia is pretty hard as many people had failed many time.
SO, could anyone share me some idea? is it very difficult to get it? what the sequence of its process?
Cheers,

Cheers,
Do you have a current driving licence in your country of residence?
There is a list of countries where their driving standards are the same or similar to Australia. If you have a licence from a listed country you will be able to get a licence in Australia without the need for a test. However this depends on the State in which you intend to reside. Have a look on the appropriate website for the individual states. ie look on the VIC Roads website for Victoria.
If you don't have a driving licence at the moment you will have to take both a theory test and a practical driving test here in Australia.

Well, it would help if you stated whether you already have a licence in
another country, and if so, which one.
Your question does not make it clear as to what info you really want.

thanks stewie,
I have my Thai driving licence and I have a translation document with me. I used my translation licence when I was in Aus as a student visa.
So, i'm not really sure that can I use this one as before if I have PR Grant.
Thanks.

Re: driving licence in Australia
Thailand is not on the approved list. A Thai licence is fine for a tourist;
but will not be accepted for automatic issue of a licence for a resident or
student visa holder!!!
