Re: The dream became true - I got my VISA - Yahoooo!
Hellooooo,
Today I recieved my grant letter, my PCC will expire on August 2009, however the initial entry date should be before 6th November 2009.
It means that we got 3 months extension.
My visa is VE 175, CSL , Computer Professional C#.
Applied on 30 July 2008.
IELTS 7.5,7,7.5,7.5
HOC requested that My wife and my son should do some further medical checks, and they did it in August 2008, (my son has heart murmor).
Case officer allocated 21st April 2009
Requested to pay the 2nd installment on 29th April 2009 for my wife's english course.
Paymeny done by credit card, payment processed within 24 hours.
Visa Granted on 12th May 2009
No Job verification Done.
Used RPL / Assesment done by ACS.
My own expereince and opinion: The most arranged, interactive and flexible system for immigration is Australia's compared to Canada's and New Zealand's.
Thanks for Paul, Sue and every contributor in this great fourm.
Anyone wants to ask any question for my experience with visa process, I am ready! - I didn't use an agent and personal opinion, No Need for an Agent.
Good Luck For All
Melbourne! I am coming....
Thanks
Romeo

No news what so ever ..
My internal\security checks have been going on for 3 months now. And people usually say that these checks can take between 2 days and 6 months. So, maybe I am half way through.

HI Romeo. Did you do your medical in August 2008? How about your police clearance check? To my understanding, the visa is needed to be validated within one year from your date of Medical or Police clearance, whatever is the latest between the two. Please get back at me. Thanks.

Hi Ahmed
Congrats for you Visa.
Can u please answer my small query. I have attached school certificate as a proof of age. Will it be sufficient proof as I do not have Birth Certificate as an evidence of age.
