Does everyone get an acknowledgement?

Does everyone get an acknowledgement?
Just wondering I have a file number sent to me by Email but no postal acknowledgment yet, it's been nearly 2 months now so would be interested to hear, does every case get a postal acknowledgment.

Hi
I didn't get an acknowledgement at all. I applied skilled ind. 136 13th April and got visa granted 27th June. I am a nurse, but it was still a big surprise to get decision so quickly.

Andrea that's soooo very cool! We are a Nurse too (well my much better half is!!) and that would be VERY nice (although we're geared up for a Nov/Dec decision - applied July 10th)
Where are you off to??

Wow Andrea, Congratulations
10 weeks!, front loaded I presume?
We applied (delivered by DHL (wife's a Nurse(will there be anyone left in NHS?))) 1st July, so we're in a race with Jez & quite a few others!!

Well that makes me think cos I have front loaded and am going through a STNI nomination from Victoria and these are usually fast tracked.
Better get the house on the market then!!!!!!!!!1

I am a nurse also, we sent our applications end of June via DHL, credit card has been charged but we haven't heard a thing not even via e-mail! We haven't front loaded though! Does anyone recommend sending meds n pc's before request, we aren't going until April 2005. I'm wondering if it makes a difference which state you ticked in the application! We ticked NSW!!
Any ideas anyone?
