Does anyone know why ?????

Does anyone know why ?????
Just wandered if anyone on hear new why visa,s being granted seem to have slowed right down recently.
Its nine weeks since our medicals and police checks arrived in australia,we are MODL and state nominated which is ment to be fastracked .
We phoned our agent yesterday and he said they haven,t had anything for the last two weeks and only two the week before that !
He said it could be due to staff being trained .
Is there anybody else on here in a similar situation to us?

On the MODL and STNI nominated, I presume you get 120 points and do not need the 137. MODL 136 is Priority - same Priority as a 137 - no extra priority for MODL and 137. Maybe STNI saves you making the Capital investment - if not, then consider advising DIMIA that you wish to be considered under 136, a more favourable visa.

Hi there we have submitted our pcc, med:....etc by may20 2005.
belive me untill now no good news! our agent is in Perth, he
contacted the case officer once and he replied in two words " your
case is still being processed"
Our agent told us will get the visa in 2months from the beginning,
unfortunately this November 25th is 6th month of our
waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any have got this experience pls reply with
the reason ?
