Question Documents say 'Received' after 28 days processing

Hi All,

I had a loads of problems when trying to upload my documents online (application for 175 submitted on the 1st September 08), so i sent them an email with all the attached documents to the email address given in the email. However just to be sure, today i tried to upload the missing docs gain. I got almost to the end of uploading them all and then i got the following error :

"You cannot attach documents or files as your application has been decided. Please use the Query the Status of your application link to check the status of your application. "

So i loggin into the other website page to check the status and it's still showing as 'Application received - processing commenced', however when i look at the 'Document Checklist', most have the 'Received' next to it apart from 'Specific Work Experience' and the xray medical bits.

I thought documents were only shown as received when a CO is assigned or somone is reviewing the application? Does anyone know?

Thanks,

Lance

It changes to "received" after the documents have been received by DIAC and someone downloads them all and attaches them to your application. It does not necessarily mean a case officer, simply that they have been attached to your file.

Try again later. Sometimes the system gives this error message when the application is first lodged.
