We sent all originals, special delivery. Supplied them with a s/del to send it all back to us.

But we applied for a spouses visa, so not sure if this would be different. Although it was documents such as birth/marriage certificates, pports etc

Hi

I called Australia house when we got to the certifying docs stage and they e-mailed me this list. We took all our stuff to a solicitor who very kindly did it free of charge

Hope the list will be of use to others

make an appt at local magistrate court £8 for the lot, bit scary standing in the dock with a panel of scary jps but worth the saving on a solicitor

I have an agent but he is in Oz how can he certify a document for me if i have the original here
