Default Do i need experience after qualified even though been doing it for years.

Ive been doing landscape gardening for nearly ten years but now you need qualifications(which i havnt got) i will have to go back to college. Once im qualified will i then have to gain more years experience?

no, just the paperwork. As you already have the experiance, things should be OK if you just get the paperwork as far as i am aware

Dear Umbongo,

If you're planning on applying for a general skilled migration visa to Australia and you don't have a recent Australian qualification obtained in Australia (further conditions also apply) then the better view is that you do need work experience after any new offshore qualifications have been completed; in most cases it would be a minimum of 12 months and in many cases 36 months.

sorry, i was under the immpression as long as you have the experience, you only needed to get the paperwork.

i'll keep my nose out next time

Lol dont worry hun i thought that was the case too.This forum is so busy theres always someone to correct you(which is good mind) if you go a little bit wrong and most poeple on here like more then one opinion anyway.We learn summat new everyday eh..

Hi there just to pick your brains a little if i can...so,if the pathway d comes back... could you just go on experience as before and therefore no qualis' would be nessacery? am i right? sorry still a newbie at all this
