Hi All,

Read a couple of threads about possible '1st July changes' and ACS skills assessment changes - does anyone know if any changes apply to applications already in progress? We've had police checks and meds requested but I'm nervous that changes could scupper the application...

Any thoughts?

I am certainly not sure this is the correct answer, logically though, I would think at this stage in the emigration process, you are pretty safe from any ammendments the ACS may make.

As a 'general', it seems that changes are made only to new applications rather than to those that are already established in the system.

Yep, can confirm that once your application is acknowledged any changes will not apply. Unless in your favour

Legally some changes can affect applications at a certain stage of processing. But in recent years DIMA have usually exempted those already in the system even if they don't have to.
