Hi,
I have applied for SIR with SA sponsorship in August but no news from DIMIA yet. (I had a pooled application in june 04 with medical and PCC valid till march 05.) Is there anyone in the same situation? will they consider my application as post july?.

Dear Bedan,

Yes I am in the same boat got the sponsorship fron SA and send my
Poooled application of SIR VISA in August but without Medical & PCC
and now waiting for
for Medical & PCC request by the way from which country u r and what
is your occupation ? I am from india and Computer Network
Engineer.Have DIMIA asked you
to provide IELTS RESULT of your included applicants and for Form
No.1022
for any circumtances changes ? Today I got the Yellow cover from my
case officer
in which he has mentioned that I have to provide IELTS result of my
spouse
as soon as possible to dimia.

Please tell me how u got the medical forms r u from india ? bcos
offshore medical form 26 is not available on DIMIA WEBSITE.

Dear PSS,
Atleast I got a company now!....I had applied for Skilled independent 136 BN visa in July 2003 and DIMIA sent me the forms for medical and PCC in March 2004. also advised for IELTS for me and my wife. We have submitted all in June 2004 and received a letter from DIMIA states that my application is pooled due to 5 points shortage..(I did all this through a well known agent and paid them US$3000.) Though I was advised them to claim my spouse bonus point or the 100K deposit before DIMIA finalizing, they didn't do that. bcoz they had a great hope that we have submitted all that requested by DIMIA so it will not fail. any way I lost all my money and time. finally I was forced to apply for the SIR. My agent told me that my Medical and PCC are valid till April 2005 so DIMIA will not ask to redo it. Since august 15th I am really counting days to get atleast SIR but so far no news.
I am from India an Electronics Engineer by profession but working as Network engineer for last 12 yrs in Dubai.

If u have e-mail id of your case offcer then u should contact him/her bcos

my file No. is changed as they(DIMIA)have consider my application for SIR VISA

HAVE U GOT NEW FILE REFERENCE Number ? and do not depand on any agent bocos

I had very bad experience same like u so I suggest u to take ypur own action in

this matter.

u should sent it directly to DIMIA and finish your finincial tranjection

with your cousin OR Friend without involving him.

Dear PSS,
Thanx for ur reply. My agent confirmed so far they haven't received a new file number for any SIR case for pooled applicants and they advised me to contact the CO directly in case required. they said they have the SIR invitation number and the old OSF number which they r using for ref. and shown me correspondance with the CO as well. Before me writing directly (i understood from their correspondance my CO is a typical Aussie) can you just clarify whether you got a new OSF number different than your pooled application OSF number? or any other reference.

just mail me in case you cannot put the details in the forum...
