Red face DIAC Processing

I applied MODL 136 , Citizenship = Pakistan.
TRA approved september 2006
Sent application to DIAC in November 2006.
Acknowledgement January 2007.

WHY Still CO not allocated?
When CO will be allocated?
When Visa will be approved?

Can Anyone answer genuinely?

IF YES GIVE IT UP.

You are from what DIAC consider to be a 'high risk' country. Your internal/security checks which would have been sent to Pakistan can take a long time to process.

There is nothing you can do to speed up that process except try and be patient. As soon as your checks have been conducted and are satisfactory, then you will be asked to do your medicals.

It is impossible to say when you will get a CO (if you havent already) and when your visa will be granted.

My husband has been waiting since Feb 2006 and his security clearance only came through a few weeks ago and we have our meds tomorrow.

So my only advise to you is to carry on with your life and just hope you are not waiting too long.

Good luck to you.

My husband is from Algeria.

The waiting is so hard, I cant believe nearly a year and a half has passed for us and we are still waiting.

It has gone quickly yet at the time, it was awful.
