Designated area sponsor
I am looking to sponsor my sister to come to Australia. Form 40 - referring
to sponsorship (Spesifically the Skilled-Designated Area Family Sponsored
Category) states that the sponsor has to have lived in a reginal area for at
least 12 months before sponsoring and must be living in the regional area at
the time the sponsorship is signed. I do qualify for both these and I am an
Australian Citizen. My question relates to what happens after the date the
sponsorship is signed. Do I have to continue living in the reginional area?
(My sister and her family will be satying regionally). If so how long would
I have to continue living in the reginonal area?
