Hi,
Adelaide is for Skilled Migration Visas only. Other Visa classes, including Family Visa's, must still be lodged at the Australian High Commision in London. They quote a processing time of 6 months for Partner Visas. You can get all the info on their website:
http://www.australia.org.uk/vti/html/
Another good site for processing time frames is:
http://www.austimeline.com/index.jsp
Regards,
Amanda.

Hi thedonkeyhunter(?)
Don't worry about AHC in London, I think it's a different department that deals with family/partner migration. We got my husbands visa back 6 weeks after initial application and another chap on this site got his back after only 15 days....that's not too bad is it?
