hello everyone

after many months we have decided to move to australia we went to an expo in edinburgh and got talking to a guy from an agency - thisisaustralia.com
has anyone heard of them??
there are so many agencies to choose from!

Hi welcome to the group,

Sorry i can't help with agencies we have done it alone because we are applying for a 457 visa.

But i would like to say Good luck with your new adventure and hope it goes smoothly for you.

Which part are you hoping to go to?

Becky

We are using thisisaustralia. They've been very helpful, on the telephone and by e-mail. Gary's a great guy and knows his stuff and Laura is also very helpful. We don't have to use an agent for a student visa, but there help and advice has been invaluable. They have made us aware that PR is not guaranteed when qualified, but have said they will give us the best advice to help us towards PR.

Hope this helps a little.

Bushy.

Hi and welcome to BE!!

We are using OE Visas in Edinburgh and they have been great to us...they even tolerated my constant telephone calls during the form filling process with ease.

Sorry I can't offer any advice on your agents, just wanted to say hi and congratulations on making the first of many decisions in this process!

Best of luck to you.

Yvonne

My partners studying Child care co-ordinator. It doesn't guarantee PR but we will do the 18 month work experience after that with full work rights and then hopefully get PR. If not then after three and half years we should get someone to sponsor Mand if not me. Long process but we love the country soooo much we've got to go with the flow. Soz to ask but how old are you guy's and how much cash you taking?

Because it is a high demand at the area we are going just now we should providing we do the 900 hours etc etc... We get a extra 5 points for being in a high demand area!!! (hopefully is stays that way once he is qualified).

South Australia has probably got the most affordable housing right now, with some good employment opportunities.

Good luck, hangin there, its a long process.
