Default Dealing with an inefficient case officer !!!

I am not satisfied with my case officer. He hardly replies to my
emails and catagorically told me not to call him. I have already been
affected and my application has already been delayed subsatntially by
his inefficiency.

I thought paying $1150 for application processing fee is a good amount
to deseve some level of customers service.

Because he does not reply to my queries on time and suggests exactly
what I suggested initially long after the dead line, causes lot of
unnecessary harassment.

I want to know :

1) What sort of authority a case officer has on application success
when the bond money has already been lodged ?

2) If I show my dissatisfaction and ask him to be more efficient will
that have any negative impact on my application?

3) Can I write to the higher authority about his handling my case ?

Thanks for you in put.

Others might offer an official mechanism for reporting problems
with case officers, but my unprofessional advice would be to
stop all original correspondence with him, i.e. don't call
him, let him call you. Human nature means that if you annoy
someone in power, there's a good chance that they will just make
your life a misery in return. You may have already passed this
point with your case officer.

I had a few emails ignored by my case officer, and I kept my queries
friendly and inquisitive rather than formal and demanding. I think you
need to just accept that it's the system that's inefficient, not
the case officers, and that making a fuss is probably counterproductive.

From what I can tell, they just take an application off the bottom of
the pile and follow the rules. Any uninvited input from the applicant
will just slow things down.

Complaining to a superior might just end up being a complaint to
your case officer's drinking buddy, in which case the two might
agree that your case could 'accidentally' fall behind a filing
cabinet for a few extra weeks.

Complain AFTER getting your visa :-)

The route is to your Region Manager, they should be able to give you a name, but there is no evidence they reply either.

They don't know the meaning of customer service, as far as I'm aware they are not a commercial business with shareholders to keep happy.

Be patient and don't wind them up unneccessarily, you'll get your visa on their terms, not yours.
