Deadline for sending Quallifications docs not met
Dear all,
I reside in UAE and applied for Australian Immigration under Skilled-
Independent Category. In January 2003, I got the confirmation of
receipt of application from Imm. authorities.
Additionally, I got instructions to send once again the qualification
transcripts, degree certificates etc. directly from the institutions
where I studied (Delhi- India) within a period of 60 days from the
specified date..
I managed to get it sent from the institutions directly but later
found that it reached after the deadline period of 60 days i.e. it
reached within 70-71 days. I did not receive any confirmation etc.
from Imm. authorities for the receipt of documents.
My question is
1) whether my application would be rejected as I did not meet the
deadline? If yes, what steps I should take in order to prevent this?
2) Do I need to enquire from the Imm. Authorities about the status (in
the 1st confirmation letter, it was specifically instructed to
correspond during the period)of my application?
Please reply me ASAP if possible.
best regards
