Does anyone know what to think of this from the DIAC:
"Applications are being processed in date of lodgement order. The ASPC expects to have commenced processing of all CSL applications held by this office by the end of May 2009."
Commence processing meaning a CO or that they may just be marking documents are recieved and looking at the file? It a bit general. Just wondering about PCC and Medicals if I should wait or book sometime in May.

THey are still on APril for HR countries. Hope by the end of this month they should be at least at June applicants if they want to address all the applications including may applications, not to mention the bundle of state applications that will be sent in between

They have changed from "ASPC expects to allocated CO to all CSL applications held by this office by the end of the May 2009"
There is a similar thread on this forum, you could see further comments there.

As you have said all online application has the same wording i.e. processing commenced...
Does that mean all online applications are allocated CO the very first day.
It is obviously mean CO will be allocated to applicaiton till end of May. And by the way, application processing commenced once after CO assigned and nothing before that.
As you apply online, they put the general message there in your online status area.

Dear CSL,
There is no need to worry with these wordings.
All CSLs will be allocated CO by the end of May 2009.
So, start thinking positively.

As soon as you apply your online status says
"Application received - processing commenced"
When you are allocated a case officer another line appears under that saying
"Application being proceseed further"

Wel it does in my case as they have contacted me. - I'm a Jan applicant and was emailed by a case officer on 9th Feb requesting that we attend medicals and submit police checks. Our page changed to application being processed further on the day we were contacted. It sounds like you have a case officer too.
