CO, Direct Contact
Hi
I thank people who replied me in this forum before. Now I have a question: based on General Inquiry Reply which I received from DIAC it seems that I am in security check. After 19 months and 18 days since my lodgment and although I have had no problem in IELTS, documents, related job experience ... there is no news from Visa.
I have an immigration lawyer but I can’t trust on his service very much so my question is: Can I contact my CO directly?
Is it possible to talk to him by phone or send him an email?
I know that because I have a lawyer, my email is not valid for DIAC but I should talk to him to know how I should face some troubles that I will have because of this endless waiting. All of my programs for my life are messed and I don't know how to handle them anymore.
If anyone has any suggestion or recommendation please let me know, even commercial services are accepted.
My problem is not the VISA itself, my big issue is that I don't know how much further I should wait after this long time (19 months 18 days).
Thanks in advance for any cooperation.
Regards
Shahram

Hi,
Yes I think you should try to contact your case officer after all this time. You can telephone the office or visit in person. You can find the contact details by going to the DIAC website and searching under 'diac offices'.
Good luck

My Application Type is: Class BN Subclass 136 Skilled – Independent and I always receive any new document request from Department of Immigration and Citizenship (ADELAIDE SKILLED PROCESSING CENTRE). Now can you please tell me how can I contact them?

Are you based in the UK? Usually for UK residents it doesnt take that long for visa grant.
