CLASS BN Resident P VISA
Hi guys, I have a
Class BN resident P visa, subclass 136
Initial entry by 13Apr07
Granted 10May06.Multiple Travel.Must not arrive after 10May11
Holder Permitted to remain in Australia Indefinetly.
My Initial entry was on 16Jul06. I left australia after two weeks. I have never returned to australia.
my question is, what happens after 10May11. Does my visa become invalid?
Will I loose my permanent residency status?
If I do loose it, do i need to go through it all over again as if i ve never had obtained it?
thanks guys.

Re: CLASS BN Resident P VISA
If you were present in Australia on 10 May 2011 nothing would happen. You could stay in Australia forever.
If however you were not in Australia on that date, or were in Australia but left after that date, you would need a Resident Return Visa (RRV) to get back into Australia at a later date as a permanent resident. Have a look at the Wiki here for more info about RRVs.
If you didn't qualify for a RRV but still qualified for permanent residency, you could reapply for PR.
