Good day
I am going to lodge my application with DIAC today
I would like to claim for 10 points of relevant work experience , Could you have a look on my work history and let me know whether I can claim 10 points or not?
10 Jan 2005 till 24 July 2008 Company XXXX
08 Nov 2008 till 31 Aug 2010 Company YYYY

My work experience is relevant to my occupation but I have around 3 months gap in my history.
Does it make any problem ??

Hello,

I don't think gaps are an issue. you just have to make sure that you can account for working in the occupation or related occupation for three full years in the last four years. Therefore, in the last four years, does your work experience total to three years or more?

Gaps are not an issue, it's not a work interview!

It looks to me that you have a three month gap in the last four years work experience and therefore should be considered as 3+ years of work experience. However, I make this statement from reading the DIAC repeatedly and have not personally made an application for this yet.

As long as the work experience is in either your nominated occupation or a closely related one on the SOl then I believe you meet the criteria.

Pay slips, job descriptions etc would then be required to back up the claim. I've provided my agent with 5 years worth of payslips get copying and scanning

I have more than three years but there is a gap of 3 months between

the gap doesn't matter as long as you have the 3 out of 4 years experience, which you do.
