Question Citizenship Ceremony

Hi,

Is it possible to attend Citizenship Ceremony overseas at any Australian High Commission? My friend went overseas after application because his parents were ill and now he is worried?

Any experiences?

Thanks,
Syed

No, you must be onshore to apply for Citizenship (by conferral) and for the ceremony. The only exceptions (I think) are for people who get citizenship by descent (i.e through parents etc).

Spoilsport Obviously short term memory loss happening. I'm soooo glad my friends are not high maintenance. If I had his, I'd probably want to shoot myself
