Re: Citizenship Application Help

Anyone who does not sit the test I entitled to a full refund.

http://www.immi.gov.au/forms/Documents/1424.pdf

Is the refund related to a citizenship charge?

Yes TICK

Applicant did not sit test TICK

Money Back.

They cannot take your money for just attending an appointment to be told you are not going to get citizenship because you have not been here long enough.

Hi all,
I am here after so many years.
Online application form asks for applicants parents details. Why?

We are 2 kids myself and my wife applying for citizenship.
Can I apply online on one application form for all four of us?
It doesnt ask sufficiently my wife's details who is also accompanied in my application.

I am confused. Will call them tomorrow.

Each adult needs to apply individually. Children can be added to one of the applications.
As for why they want parents details? Its part of confirming your identity.

Re: Citizenship Application Help

Hi

My citizenship application is awaiting Australian police checks.

Any idea how long this will take, I called the today and they said they were awaiting the checks to come back and processing my application.

I have sat the interview, passed the test.

Also, they have not contacted my character reference, is this normal, or something I should be worried about?

Thnaks

Cheers Polly.

It's just I made a complaint about their systems, and processes. So I kind of think they could hold that against me, you know make it difficult for me or even reject my application. Do not think I have the energy to make a third application, I think it will be an RRV and a month on some beach sipping cheap Asian beers while watching half naked clad men strutting their stuff on some far away beach. This cold weather is making me awfully tetchy. I need a heat fix.

 Come to the UK, lovely here:cool:
They wouldn't be allowed to hold that against you - if it is even noted on the actua citizenship file. They would probably be trying to rush you through quick in case of another complaint!
