Default Child born in Aus

We have a new born in thr household, Alexa was born 2 weeks ago here in Aus. We (the parents) are permanent residents but not yet citizens.

What documents do we need to allow all of us to travel freely in and out of Aus? We are getting Alexa a british passport, but that wont have a visa in it (obviously).

Can anyone help me with what process to follow?

Congrats on your new family member too!

And get a citizenship certificate, to avoid problems proving citizenship later on. The birth certificate doesn't prove anything, and it's foolish to rely on passport alone.

Yes, for the same reason JAJ mentioned above.
