check offline application status
Hi All
May I know how can one check application which was lodged as paper (offline). My friend lodged around 8 weeks ago but havent reiceved any email or TRN.

Without the TRN I'm not aware of how to check the status of an application - I think your friend will have to wait for contact by CO

And I also wouldn't advise your friend to try and contact either - if the CO needs something from your friend, they will contact them. So your friend should just be patient and wait while the application is checked

Also, it's only been eight weeks. That's no time at all really. Your friend really needs to be patient. You might want to remind them that constantly being interrupted by people wanting updates is going to slow down processing (as each contact will need to be recorded, which wastes valuable time). Would your friend rather they process the application or stop to answer update questions?
