Changing NZ$ at xe.com - can you help??
Hello!
Am emigrating very soon to NZ, and I want to 'bid' for NZ$ at xe.com (i.e. name a price at which I wish them to purchase NZ$ for me if the rate comes down to it). Any 'bid' you make at xe.com stands for 30 days. My problem is that I don't know if you can cancel this bid at anytime within the 30 days?? Tried calling them for an answer, but couldn't get through. So, does anyone know if one can indeed cancel a bid, and how to do it??
I'm thinking of the scenario where, say, I place my 'bid' today, but 2 weeks from now the rate hasn't yet gone as low as my 'bid', and I need NZ$ - so I go ahead and do a 'basic trade' at the current rate. BUT I still have my 'bid' in place. This could be a problem if I can't cancel it as a) I no longer WANT to 'bid', and b) want to or not, I now no longer have the money to FUND the 'bid' if it goes through!!!
Can anyone help, would like to place a 'bid' soooon!!
Thx, TA

Why don't you email their support department ? That's why they're there.

OK, got a reply from XEtrade:
"You can cancel a bid through XEtrade.
To do so log into your XEtrade account. On the main page on the left
side
under
the heading "Reporting" you will see the words "List Bids". Click on
this
link
and read the instructions at the top of the page."

xetrade
Hi
Ive just enroled with xetrade.com and would like some peace of mind before handing over my hard earned cash.
Can anyone who has had dealings with them tell me if they are a genuine company, and if there are any pitfalls to watch out for.
Thanks
Simon
