Change IE visa to PR sponsered?
Arrived in Oz recently on 4yr 457IE with wife and family. Given the changing nature of business visas and their complexity, we are anxious to ensure that we can gain PR eventually.
My mother in law has held PR visa for 6 months. Is she able to sponser my wife and us as family members on a family visa?
I have been told that someone on a PR visa cannot sponser for 2 years is this right?
Also, are we able to lodge such an application without jeapordising our current visa situation.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Re: Change IE visa to PR sponsered?
There are various ways you can work towards a PR while holding a 457 IE ..
suggest you talk to a register migration agent. I think you will find it
worth while.
