How long does it take to change my Visa 175 to 176?
I'm trying to get a state sponsor in Queensland. ( Painter& Decorator).
If that is not possible then WA.
And what about the cost? How much does it cost?

They are part of the same visa class, so you apply for both at the same time.

I've already have applied my Visa. 10.04.08.
But now my Agent will change this Visa to 176. I mean that my Visa will just renamed. I don't need a new one.
But how long will it get to ask for a State sponsor normaly?

It is possible without extra fee! I have already done it! Im just waiting for my state sponsor from WA. 19.01.09
But if the State sponsor reply comes to late so I won't change my Visa (MODL 175) to 176. Because I think that the CSL-List after the Sponsor Visas aren't so long. And after the CSL-List..... I'll come.

Haven't you got a ss? I mean how to contact DIAC if I have got a SS of a province.

My immigratin help told me that she would write them to change my Visa from 175 to 176. That shouln't be a problem. But I don't know the e mail adress

I got my WA approvement 1 day after my application. but it takes about 4 to 6 weeks for possitive assisment.
