Am just finishing up my visa application and I see they ask for certified copies of certain documents.
I live in Milton Keynes, England. Where can I get these done?

I think most people end up using a solicitor. This can be expensive but if you are lucky or have a solicitor to begin with, they will do them all at once for a smallish flat fee.

A notary public often gets asked about on here. It is not neccesary to use one and they WILL be VERY expensive.

Make sure whoever does it for you also stamps the copy with their office stamp.

I went to a solitors and he certified all my docs for a fiver,think that is the going rate,in London anyway,good luck.

Is also worth phoning your local magistrates court - if you get lucky they'll sometimes do it for free / a token payment.

We did the same as Zultan, telephone you local magistrates court and explain what is required. They will direct /instruct you what to do, they are used to it and can also be free in some cases.
