I've recently had a CCJ against my name for £190 after being sued by a lovely couple who I was involved in a motor accident with. It will be paid off by august but because it wasn't paid by june I've officially got a CCJ with the credit agencies...how will this affecdt my visa app? I'm not applying personally, the company I've been employed by are doing it. Is this going to scupper me? Are there any ways to mitigate the damage?

You've paid it, it shouldn't cause you any problems. Be upfront and make sure it's all explained in the application. Don't worry.

Im not sure that DIAC do credit checks?, and if so that it would appear on your PCC?, as its not a prosecution??, I could be wrong though but credit info was never supplied or asked for on the application form
