Hi dears
I have applied for victorian SS I was given the case ID one day after application but in front of my status nothing has been mentioned . I heard once you get the Case ID the words " In progress" is shown but in my case there is nothing. Has any body had the same experience?

It just means that no-one has bothered to update the online status, not a priority task - more important that the actual application is worked on

Same here!

I applied on 10th Mar, 2010, next day a case ID has been generated but case status blank.

My question is, am I suppose to receive ackowledgement email in two days?

no status update or acknowledgment.
i got a mail after 2 weeks tht my application was rejected.
that was quicker than wht i expected.
IT .net, 5 yrs, IELTS 7,7,7.5,7.5

If you get an acknowledgement then it will happen when it happens. Maybe you won't. Means nothing.

In English would be preferable, it's a computer not a mobile phone.

Anyway, you're very often not given a reason for a refusal. State Sponsorship is a tricky one because you could have all the qualifications etc that you need but if they reach a quota for that particular skill they will say no. Not much you can do about it.

You may get an acknowledgement. You may not. Don't worry about it. It doesn't matter.

I applied on 1st March, But still waiting for any status. Pollyana says correct "not a priority task".

I am in the same situation, i have applied Vic SS on 26th Feb but still waiting for status changes. I have got an acknowledgment email after 2-3 days and have assigned Case ID but status shows blank.

Is there any special means?

Hi guys,
The VIC SS Application Status is always blank even after you get approval. So dont focus on that. But they do send an email for acknowledgment or for any requirements.
