Default Can LAFHA allowance be negotiated after the 457 Visa is granted?

Hi,

I will be moving to Aussie on a 457 Visa in the next couple of weeks. On my contract it doesnt say anything about LAFHA. But after reading couple of threads, i can see that i should be eligible for LAFHA.

How should i go about this with my employer. I am more than happy to use an agent or an accountant if required in this case.

Can any agents or accountants help me out please?

My salary bracket is in the range of AUS $50K.

Regards,
Agathi

Possibly. Talk to your employer immediately and be prepared to find a good accountant.
