can having a brain aneurysm make me fail health cheak.
hi all
i'm a uk nurse applying for a 121 ENS off shore, i recently had a brain haemmorage, due to an aneurysm, i was very lucky and survided it without being left with any disabilities.
i'm not back at work yet due to headaches and tiredness, and probably wont be when i have my medical.
does anyone know if being off sick from work when you have the medical can make you fail it?
i also still have a small area of the aneurysm that cant be operated on, so it will have to be monitored every 3 months with an angiogram.
does anyone know if having a serious medical condition like this will prevent me getting a visa. i'm starting to fear it will

Just for your info, I had an aneurysm 7 years ago. I don't have any residual problems and have been fully discharged by the hospital. I supplied all of the info at my medical and it took longer for my meds to be cleared but I passed it all and we're now living in Oz. Not sure what happens if you still have one that's untreated though.
